Our Chinese language department has designed a curriculum which helps students develop proficiency in Mandarin through comprehensive training in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Malay

Our Malay Language Department at New Bridge International School is dedicated to offering students the opportunity to explore and master one of Southeast Asia’s most widely spoken languages, Malay. As a key language in Malaysia, being able to speak and write in Malay is crucial to thriving in Malaysia. Our program is designed to develop students' fluency in the language while fostering an appreciation for the cultural diversity of the Malay-speaking world.

Our Approach

Our curriculum is designed to cater to students of all proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced speakers. We emphasize communication skills, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening, ensuring students are well-equipped to use Malay in academic, professional, and everyday settings. Learning Malay at New Bridge International School is always stimulating in the best way. Our teachers engage students in creative ways, such as bringing the classroom outdoors or even making kuih in the canteen. This way, students have memorable experiences, and learning is maximized.
